About the Founder
I, Prashant Bothra completed my Chartered Accountancy in 2011 in the first attempt. I spent this initial years in Deloitte and then moved on to Asian Paints to be hired as one of their youngest managers! Worked in their Internal Audit & Finance teams, managed their supply chain and sales and marketing processes.
Thereafter, went on to build & grow India’s one of the largest nonwoven textile manufacturing company, Southern Felt & Geotex headquartered in Chennai from 2016, and FHERO was kickstarted in July 2022.
FHERO was started with a single problem statement
When I was leading my manufacturing company, I always felt it was a challenge to get the right numbers to aid in my decision making.
Since I am a CA, I used to get down, get my hands dirty and pull out the details myself. But then, again I would have to deal with accountant changes, each one blaming the previous one, and keeping track of the hundred regulation changes was a massive task – over and above growing my own product market & company!
All of this was taking too much of my time, (INSPITE BEING A CA Founder) – and then started to discuss with other people who ran businesses, and ALL felt the same.
Not some, ALL! And since they were engineers/etc, they found it even tougher to do
things themselves!
That’s how I felt there is a need for not good, but GREAT accounting and finance services that needs to be provided to all companies regardless of where they are in their growth journey – and it honestly needs to be looked at by a team of professionals who can consider every aspect of fifinance – the accuracy, the regulations and the impact!
And someone, needs to take full responsibility of the function for eternity, so that the business owners can focus on the business!
